1. What we use
We use only what the service needs to work. Strictly necessary storage keeps you signed in and keeps your session secure. We do not set advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites.

- Sign-in session, so you are not asked to log in on every page.
- Security tokens that protect against request forgery.
- Your sidebar and layout preference, so the app looks the same next visit.
These do not require consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations because the service cannot function without them.
3. Analytics
Where a dealer switches on an analytics or advertising integration for its own public website, that dealer is responsible for collecting consent on that website. Nothing is set by us on their behalf without it.
4. Managing storage
You can clear site data in your browser settings at any time. Clearing it signs you out and resets your layout preferences.

CarDealerOS is a software subscription. Each dealership using the platform is responsible for its own regulatory permissions and publishes its own terms.
This policy covers the CarDealerOS platform itself and is not legal advice. Each dealership must publish its own customer-facing terms and notices.
